ACPE 2025 - Include IT

"About a year ago, VMware substantially increased their prices which triggered a project to migrate away as quickly as possible.

In this session we will discuss the various aspects of a virtual infrastructure replacement such as product selection, implementation, and migration of production workloads. Another way to phrase it could be: We are ditching vmware, ask me anything."

The idea of implementing a cybersecurity framework can be overwhelming. What framework should I use? How do I get started? Why should I bother? The good news is, you may be doing some of this already and did not know it. We will share our experiences along with the troubles and tribulations we face(d) in hopes to get you started down the framework path.

Many of you are familiar with the AppleTV hit series, Ted Lasso. There are some remarkable leaderships skills from the show that can be applied to your toolkit as an IT leader, as well as in your own personal life. Come to the "Dog Pound" and hear about some of those leadership qualities. Andrew Stenehjem (BSD) and Jim Newton (BSD) will share some of qualities and practical examples that can help you Lasso your IT management skills. We'd also like to learn from you. Come prepared to engage and share your thoughts.
