In this session, members of the Edmonds School District Digital Learning team will describe how they have supported staff and student use of generative AI through: policy development/refinement and communication, required and optional professional learning, coaching, and integration into other initiatives and priorities. We will highlight our focus on the significance of open conversations with students around AI usage and provide examples of how we are supporting inclusive practices with gen AI. We will share resources we have developed and reflect on opportunities and challenges we have faced throughout our journey so far.
