In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, maintaining a secure server infrastructure is critical. However, this environment can be prone to vulnerabilities that demand immediate attention. In this session, we will explore various methods for updating servers and third-party applications, and discuss best practices for staying up-to-date. I will share some insights into the strategies that have proven effective for Northshore, as well as areas where we recognize the need for improvement. Our goal is to collectively gather valuable information and resources to enhance and secure our infrastructures.
"In this think tank I plan to discuss the challenges and issues that arise from rapid rollouts of hardware security key/tokens for students in Gsuite. NSD has recently enabled this for students and I would like to share our experience with others. We will discuss best practices for getting tokens set up for students as well as scoping and provisioning these changes to the appropriate sets of students."
