Project Management Time Machine
Friday May 9, 2025 9:00am - 9:50am PDT
"In today's fast-paced educational environment, technology teams face limited resources, reduced staffing, and numerous priorities, making time a scarce asset and technology being seen as a transaction-based commodity. To support student success, we must create more time. Traditional project management helps but brings challenges in complexity, communication, and adoption.

This session will introduce a strategic project management framework to streamline projects, reduce wasted efforts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. We will also evaluate project success and identify growth areas. Attendees will learn how to use standard office tools, automated workflows, and generative AI to improve time management and efficiency in their department and district."

Friday May 9, 2025 10:00am - 10:50am PDT
Oregon K12 InfoSec Collective (ORKIC) is a free membership, unique and “formally informal” collaboration group dedicated to improving cybersecurity across Oregon's K-12 institutions. ORKIC members work to create a relaxed yet focused environment where members can openly share ideas, tackle challenges, discuss current threats, share resources and exchange Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). This informal camaraderie, professional dedication and trust helps its members improve cyber readiness for their agencies. Attendees will hear success stories, and learn how collaboration is transforming cybersecurity resilience. This session is for any IT professional and administrator committed to protecting their schools from evolving cyber threats by embracing the power of teamwork and shared knowledge.
