About me
Teshon Christie serves as the Chief of Digital Transformation and Innovation at Highline Public Schools, where he leads the development and execution of digital strategies to enhance both district operations and educational practices. His role encompasses championing digital equity, overseeing technology-driven projects, leading the charge in instructional technology and infrastructure, refining district operational processes, and leveraging data strategically to foster student success. Teshon's expertise ensures that digital initiatives are aligned with the district's mission to ensure that students are known by name, strength and need and prepared for the future that they choose.
Teshon has been a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences including CoSN and ACPE. His most recent presentations were a panel discussion at the ASU+GSV Air Show on developing and promoting ethical AI usage in education and a CoSN presentation on promoting digital equity in teaching and learning. He is also a long-serving member of CoSN's Digital Equity and Driving K-12 Advisory Boards and has been a CoSN Certified Educational Technology Leader since 2015 serving on the CoSN CETL Governance Committee from 2015 to 2021 as a member, vice-chair and chair.
