"Running a Tech Department in a School District is hard work! Providing excellent support to busy educators, day in and day out, is exhausting! The kids won't stop breaking their tech! Is it possible to stay efficient and keep team morale high in this environment?

From DNS wins to Synergy woes, Linn Benton Lincoln (LBL) ESD has had equally good successes and shortcomings in our backup and redundancies journey. Please join us for a demonstration of our Rubrik environment to display a few of the backup and disaster recovery services it provides for some of the programs we host such as Synergy and Infinite Visions. We will open and lead discussions on our current backup and redundancy strategies and aspirations. It is our hope that we all will leave this conversation with new tactics and angles on how to prepare for the ever-changing environment of K12 data theft and dealing with downed systems.

Having weathered our first years with more than a few scars, we’ve doubled down on our commitment to our principles (& possibly added some new ones). In this presentation we will again discuss what has worked for us, stumbling blocks we encountered (and how we recovered), all from a technological, financial, & philosophic perspective.
